✔ Use the indicator「ここ／そこ／あそこ」to explain a place or a location.

● ここ「Here」
　
例：　ここ　は、私の部屋です。
　　　　　　　　    場所       
Eg.:    Here is my room.
                          place

● そこ「There」

例：　そこ　は、 トイレ です。
　　　　　　　　   場所           
Eg.:    There is a toilet. 
                           Place

● あそこ 「There」

例：　あそこ　は、 市役所 です。
　　　　　　　　      場所        
 Eg.:  There is a municipal office. 
                                    place

1. ここは教室です。（N：教室）

   This is a classroom.（N：classroom）

2. そこは私の部屋です。（N：私の部屋）

   It is my room.（N：my room）

3. あそこはトイレです。 （N：トイレ）

   That is a bathroom.（N：toilet）

✔ Use a demonstrative pronoun「ここ／そこ／あそこ」to indicate the location of Noun, such as 「place of man」, 「place of things」, 「place of building」etc.

✔ Sentence Composition:
                                  ここです。(here)
       N (place) + は +  そこです。(there)
                                   あそこです。(there／over there)

Eg.:
青木さんの家 (N) は、あそこ です。
Aoki’s home is there (over there).
図書館 　(N)　　 は、そこです。
The library is there.
ABC銀行 (N)　    は、ここです。
The ABC Bank is here.

1. ワンさんのアパートはここです。（N：ワンさんのアパート）

   Wang’s apartment is here.(N: Wang’s apartment)

2. 受付はそこです。 （N：受付）

   The reception is there. (N: reception)

3. カメラ売り場はあそこです。 （N：カメラ売り場）

   A sales floor of camera is there.(N: A sales floor of camera)

✔「人ひとがどこにいるか。」or 「もの・場所がどこにあるか。」is used to ask for the location of a noun (person, things,places etc.)

例：　林はやしさん  は　どこ　ですか 。
            N
Eg.:  Where is Hayashi?

●もの  [Things]
例：　お店で
　　　くつ売り場  は　どこ　ですか 。
　　         N
Eg.:  Where is the shoes counter?


●場所  [Places]
例：　トイレ  は　どこ　ですか 。
　　      N
Eg.:    Where is the toilet?
